CRNA Opportunities
Challenge Anesthesia is hiring CRNAs for full-time, flexible, PRN, and remote opportunities across Michigan.
The compensation listed below reflects 1099 independent contractor positions. W-2 employment options are also available for select positions. Contact our recruiting team to discuss W-2 compensation and benefits.
PRN CRNA Opportunities
Flexible scheduling | 1099 | $200 to $250/hour
We’re looking for experienced CRNAs who want the flexibility to pick up shifts based on their availability.
- $200 to $250 per hour, depending on location and assignment
- Minimum availability of two days per month
- Choose opportunities based on your schedule
- Opportunities available in Ann Arbor, Hillsdale, Sheridan, Pontiac, and Saginaw
This is a great fit for CRNAs who already have a primary position but want additional shifts or those who prefer a flexible schedule.
Sheridan Community Hospital
3 days per week | Starting at $242,000/year
We’re looking for a CRNA who wants a consistent three-day-per-week schedule at Sheridan Community Hospital.
- Three days per week
- Guaranteed 8-hour shifts
- Starting at $242,000 per year
- Consistent facility and schedule
Hillsdale Community Hospital
4 days per week | 1099 | Starting at $385,000/year
We’re looking for a CRNA interested in a full-time position with a predictable weekly schedule and shared call responsibilities.
Typical weekly schedule:
- One 24-hour shift
- Two 8-hour shifts
- One 6-hour shift
- One weekend of call per month
- Starting at $385,000 per year
Full-Time Flex CRNA
5 days per week | 1099 | Starting at $505,000/year
We’re looking for a highly flexible CRNA who wants a full-time role with variety, strong compensation, and the ability to work across multiple Challenge Anesthesia locations.
Typical weekly schedule:
- One 24-hour shift
- Three 8-hour shifts
- One 6-hour shift
- One weekend of call per month
- Additional call coverage as needed
- Travel to facilities within approximately two hours of Ann Arbor
- Starting at $505,000 per year
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working in different clinical environments and is comfortable helping where coverage is needed most.

Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)
5 days per week | 1099 | Pay Based on Experience
We’re looking for an Anesthesia Tech or Registered Nurse to support our Pre-Admission Testing program and help ensure patients are prepared for their upcoming procedures.
What we’re looking for:
- Anesthesia Tech or Registered Nurse
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable reviewing patient information and preoperative requirements
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and communicate concerns to the anesthesia team
Position Details:
- Initial 90-day period to evaluate the role and ongoing needs
- Opportunity to continue beyond 90 days based on mutual fit and program needs
