Chief Executive Officer
Jason began his career more than 20 years ago as a manager for a prominent construction company in Middle Tennessee. He later built and operated his own successful construction business. When the recession reshaped the housing market, he made a decisive career shift into healthcare. Jason has extensive experience in the operating room and intensive care with multiple years at the University of Michigan OR, Medicine ICU and Cardiac ICU and over 10 other facilities providing anesthesia both independently and in the care team model.
Jason advanced his training in anesthesia at the University of Michigan. During this training he received the Agatha Hodgins award for clinical excellence, the Hagerman Business Pitch Grand prize for his invention of a new type of minimally invasive endotracheal tube (MIET tube) and was a speaker at Mott’s pediatric anesthesia conference. Jason has served as a chief and a director of anesthesia departments. He is also double board certified in Non Surgical Pain Management. This added expertise expands Challenge Anesthesia’s clinical depth and supports advanced pain management services, procedural growth, and evidence driven care models.
Drawing on both business leadership and clinical experience, Jason founded Challenge Anesthesia to align highly skilled providers with healthcare systems, especially those in rural settings. His mission is to help those organizations that are seeking reliable, high quality anesthesia and pain management services.
